India, Oct. 21 -- Dubai has launched a novel resident-referral campaign offering benefits worth up to AED 3,000, equivalent to approximately $800, in an aggressive effort to entice international travellers back to the emirate following the severe disruptions caused by regional missile exchanges earlier in the year.

The initiative, officially designated as "A Dubai Invite", allows UAE residents to nominate up to five friends or relatives residing abroad through the official Visit Dubai digital portal.
