US, Sept. 18 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the unanimous adoption of the BRICS New Delhi Declaration reflected the world's trust in India, as he addressed the 'Semicon India 2026' event here on Thursday.

According to him, India's economy has continued to show resilience, with the latest quarterly GDP data recording 7.8 per cent growth despite ongoing challenges. "Japan's decision to upgrade India's sovereign rating for the first time in 35 years was another indication of growing international confidence in the country," he said.
