US, Sept. 10 -- AI has become an integral part of our lives. It is capable of doing many day-to-day tasks like processing loans, screening job applications, diagnosing diseases, regulating mundane tasks, and even writing those emails we receive every day.

Undoubtedly, the benefits are immense, but there are also problems. What if the AI starts rejecting applications from certain students belonging to a certain gender, geographical area, caste, or socio-economic background?

"The algorithm did it" cannot be the end of the conversation. Behind every AI system are choices made by people.
