US, Aug. 27 -- Mohan Bhagwat, who has served as the RSS Sarsanghchalak (Chief) since 2009, is set to deliver an address expected to draw attention in India and the United States. The RSS chief is scheduled to address the Indian diaspora at Madison Square Garden in New York City on August 29. The program will feature faith-based speakers and cultural presentations linked to the central theme of the gathering.

The event is being organized by the American Hindus for Engagement and Dialogue, or AHEAD Forum, in partnership with hundreds of participating organizations. The organizers described it as one of the largest and most diverse Hindu community gatherings held in the United States.
