US, April 30 -- External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar spoke with his Iranian counterpart Seyed Abbas Araghchi this week and held a detailed discussion on the ongoing situation in West Asia.
Sharing details of the exchange on X, Jaishankar said he received a phone call from Araghchi and agreed to remain in "close touch". "Received a phone call from Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi of Iran this evening. Had a detailed conversation about various aspects of the current situation. We agreed to remain in close touch," Jaishankar wrote.
