Jammu, Aug. 27 -- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has highlighted an important healthcare issue stressing that advanced healthcare should not remain a luxury for the rich. Addressing the Quaternary Healthcare and Research Summit at SKICC in Srinagar, he has said that quaternary care should become a right of every citizen.
Quaternary care means highly specialized medical treatment that requires advanced technology, expert doctors and modern research facilities. LG Sinha has batted for making advanced medical treatment available to every person, and not only to those who can afford it or live in big cities.
