JAMMU, May 12 -- The Udhampur district administration has imposed a complete ban on the unauthorized sale of the newly introduced Indian Army camouflage uniform to prevent impersonation and misuse.
District Magistrate Minga Sherpa said the decision was taken following reports that anti-social elements could exploit the uniform to pose as Army personnel, posing serious security risks. Udhampur's proximity to key defence establishments, including the Northern Command headquarters, makes the issue particularly sensitive.
