Jammu, Aug. 26 -- AK-47 rifle, grenades, ammunition recovered in Sopore
Srinagar, Aug 25: Security forces on Tuesday foiled an alleged terror plot in Pulwama and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition during a separate joint operation in Sopore, officials said.
In Pulwama, two terrorist associates were arrested and a pistol, 12 rounds of ammunition and a hand grenade were recovered, while in Sopore's Manzseer area, the joint forces recovered an AK-series rifle, three magazines, four hand grenades, a large quantity of ammunition and other war-like stores.
Police said security forces foiled a terror plot with the arrest of two terrorist associates in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.
