India, April 2 -- Marking a significant milestone in technology-driven policing and improved citizen services in the Union Territory, Jammu and Kashmir has secured a top position on the CCTNS Pragati Dashboard of the National Crime Records Bureau.
According to official data accessed as of March 1, 2026, J&K ranked first among Union Territories (excluding Delhi), reflecting the sustained and coordinated efforts of the CCTNS team of the Crime Branch, J&K Police. In the overall national ranking of States and UTs, Delhi secured the top position.
