Teacher Among Two Arrested for Aiding Foreign Terrorists in Kishtwar
KISHTWAR, May 13 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday arrested two alleged supporters of the Saifullah group for providing shelter and logistical support to foreign terrorists in the Singhpora area of Chatroo in Kishtwar district.
The arrests were made in connection with a case registered under FIR No. 03/2026 at Police Station Chatroo under provisions of the BNS, UAPA and the Arms Act, officials said.
Senior Superintendent of Police Naresh Singh said that during a targeted operation, police apprehended Mashkoor Ahmed, a resident of Beighpora, Singhpora, and a teacher in the School Education Department, for facilitating a terrorist hideout in the area.
