Srinagar, Aug. 26 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday said shaping the future of children cannot be the sole responsibility of teachers, stressing that the government, parents and teachers must work together to prepare the next generation for a rapidly changing world.

Addressing a day-long education conference organised by the J-K Teachers Forum on the theme 'Child is Our Priority', Abdullah said teachers play a crucial role but placing the entire responsibility on them would be unfair and add unnecessary pressure to an already demanding profession.
