India, March 27 -- In a significant move, the State Election Commission (SEC) on Thursday issued a schedule for revision of Panchayat electoral rolls in Jammu and Kashmir.
State Election Commissioner, Shantmanu said the Commission has issued a calendar for revision of Panchayat electoral rolls.
As per calendar, a copy of which is with KNO, the publication of draft electoral roll will take place on March 27, 2026.
The claims/objections for addition/deletions/corrections/transpositions can be filed between March 27 to April 29.
According to the calendar, the special camps at the polling booth locations will take place on April 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26.
