Srinagar, May 12 -- The Meteorological Department on Monday forecast light to moderate rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds across Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, while advising people to suspend boating and farm operations during the period.
The MeT department said the weather remained generally cloudy across many places on Monday with intermittent spells of rain and thundershowers.
It said similar weather conditions are likely to continue on Tuesday with one or two spells of light to moderate rain and thundershowers at most places.
"There is a possibility of hailstorm, thunder, lightning and gusty winds with speeds of 50-60 kmph at a few places in Kashmir and Jammu divisions, mainly during afternoon, evening and night hours," the advisory...
