India, March 24 -- India Meteorological Department has forecast generally dry weather in Jammu and Kashmir for the next two days, with a fresh spell of rain and snowfall expected from the night of March 28.

According to the forecast, March 24 and 25 will remain largely dry across the Union Territory, while March 26 is expected to witness generally cloudy skies with light rain or snow at a few places during the afternoon.

Weather conditions are likely to stay mostly dry till the evening of March 28, after which light rain, snowfall, thunderstorms and gusty winds are expected at many places.
