India, March 26 -- The Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Wednesday predicted fresh spells of rain and snowfall across Jammu and Kashmir from March 26 onwards.
An official of the MeT Centre said that the weather is expected to remain largely dry till the evening of March 26, after which light rain, snow, thunder and gusty winds are likely at many places.
"A more active weather phase is predicted between March 29 and 30, with generally cloudy conditions and the possibility of light to moderate rain in plains and snowfall over higher reaches at several locations. Thunder and gusty winds with speeds of 40-50 kmph may continue till the forenoon of March 31," the official added.
