Jammu Tawi, June 18 -- Some Pakistani currency notes along with a handwritten slip containing five mobile phone numbers were seized near a forest in Poonch district on Wednesday, officials said.

Army troops were on area domination patrol when they came across a packet near the Nar forest area along the Jammu-Poonch National Highway, which contained Pakistani currency notes valued at Rs 110 and a handwritten slip with five mobile numbers on it, they said.

No one was arrested in connection with the recovery, the officials said, adding that further investigation was underway.
