Jammu Tawi, May 27 -- Northern Railway has restored Train No. 04081/04082 (New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi) by operating it on a diverted route instead of cancelling it, providing relief to passengers, especially pilgrims visiting Katra.

Earlier, the train service was proposed to be fully cancelled on certain dates due to operational reasons. However, considering passenger demand and convenience, the Jammu Division of Northern Railway revised the decision and approved its continuation via an alternate route.

According to Uchit Singhal, the decision has been taken in the interest of passengers to avoid inconvenience, particularly for devotees travelling to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra.
