JAMMU, May 31 -- Leader of Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly and senior BJP leader Sunil Sharma on Saturday launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, alleging that the National Conference leader would be willing to settle for anything short of full statehood if his political privileges remained unaffected.

Addressing reporters, Sharma claimed that the Abdullah family has never stepped down from power and has historically prioritised political positions and official protocol over public interests.
