New Delhi, May 1 -- The annual Kailash Mansarovar Yatra will be conducted from June to August this year, with applications now open for interested pilgrims, the Ministry of External Affairs announced.
A total of 20 batches will undertake the pilgrimage, with 10 batches of 50 yatris each travelling via Lipulekh Pass in Uttarakhand, and another 10 batches of 50 yatris each via Nathu La Pass in Sikkim.
According to the ministry, applications are being accepted through the official website, and yatris will be selected through a fair, computer-generated, random, and gender-balanced process.
