Jammu, May 4 -- In a major enforcement action, the Jammu Development Authority (JDA) on Monday carried out a demolition drive along the Ring Road corridor to curb unauthorized constructions and ensure planned urban development in the region.

During the operation, more than 15 illegal structures were demolished for being constructed without obtaining the required permissions from the competent authority. Officials stated that these constructions were in clear violation of approved land-use norms and building regulations.
