India, March 27 -- The India Meteorological Department on Thursday forecast generally cloudy weather with spells of rain and snow across Jammu and Kashmir over the coming days.
According to the details provided by the Meteorological Centre Srinagar from March 28 to 30, the weather is likely to remain generally cloudy with intermittent light to moderate rain and snow in higher reaches at most places, accompanied by thunder and gusty winds with speeds of 40-50 kmph, especially during night hours.
The MeT said that on March 31, scattered places may receive brief spells of light rain or snow, while the period from April 1 to 5 is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy.
