Jammu, May 2 -- A comprehensive review of the security arrangements for the Shiv Khori Yatra was conducted in Reasi district as Jammu and Kashmir Police stressed the need to balance strict security measures with a pilgrim-friendly environment.

Deputy Inspector General (Udhampur-Reasi range) Shiv Kumar Sharma on Saturday assessed operational preparedness of Police, Special Operations Group (SOG), and CRPF units deployed at key locations including Ransoo, Shiv Khori, and Pouni to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of the pilgrimage.
