India, Sept. 29 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police have busted an alleged fake currency racket and arrested three persons during a late Monday night operation in the Chowadi area of Jammu, recovering counterfeit notes worth Rs 13,500 and equipment allegedly used for printing them.Watch History Documentaries

Police sources said the accused were allegedly operating from a rented room where they were printing counterfeit currency notes. During the raid, police seized fake currency notes along with a scanning machine, printer, computer and other equipment.

The arrested persons have been identified as Vijay Sahni, a resident of Bihar, Rahul Ahirwar of Madhya Pradesh and Indrapal Kumar of Jharkhand.
