India, March 17 -- Jammu and Kashmir has sufficient stocks of fuel and essential commodities to last around 21 days, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Satish Sharma said on Monday. He added that kerosene distribution, which was suspended after J&K was declared kerosene-free, had been temporarily resumed, with around 2.5 litres to be provided per family amid the ongoing geopolitical crisis.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the Tulip Show inauguration by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in Srinagar, Sharma said the administration is closely monitoring the supply chain and will take strict action against those indulging in black-marketing.
