India, Sept. 28 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Congress on Monday staged a protest in Jammu demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, while police foiled the protesters' march from Shaheedi Chowk towards the Deputy Commissioner's office.Download Interactive Maps

The demonstration was organised by the District Congress Committee Jammu Urban under the banner of the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee, with protesters carrying placards and raising slogans over alleged irregularities in the electoral process.
