Srinagar, May 4 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour at the Civil Secretariat Srinagar on Monday as government offices resumed functioning in the summer capital.
The Chief Minister received a formal welcome from senior officials and administrative staff on his arrival at the Secretariat, marking the beginning of the government's summer session in Srinagar.
The reopening of offices follows the seasonal shift of the administration from Jammu, a longstanding practice aimed at ensuring governance across both regions of the Union Territory.
