Jammu Tawi, Aug. 13 -- Jammu and Kashmir is among 25 States and Union Territories where the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) and/or Restructured Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme (RWBCIS) is being implemented during Kharif 2026, the Government of India (GoI) informed the Lok Sabha.
The information was provided by Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Ramnath Thakur in reply to Lok Sabha Unstarred Question No. 3895 regarding Crop Insurance Schemes, raised by Shri Sachithanantham R.
