Srinagar, July 8 -- Three alleged over-ground workers (OGWs) of terrorists were apprehended in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district after the Facial Recognition System (FRS) deployed for the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra generated alerts about their movement, police said on Wednesday.

According to a police spokesperson, the FRS installed by Anantnag Police detected three suspicious individuals while they were passing through the Sarbal area, triggering immediate alerts and demonstrating the effectiveness of the advanced surveillance system deployed for the annual pilgrimage.
