JAMMU, Aug. 5 -- Security forces unearthed a terrorist hideout in a remote village of Poonch district on Wednesday and recovered two magazines of an AK assault rifle along with 134 rounds of ammunition, officials said.
The hideout, concealed inside a cave at Bhoriwala Dhok in Surankote tehsil, was detected during a joint search operation by the police and Rashtriya Rifles, they said.
The recovered ammunition included 117 rounds for an AK assault rifle and 17 rounds of 9-mm pistol ammunition, officials said.
The recovery came as security forces continued a massive search operation across more than a dozen forested villages in Surankote following reports of the movement of two groups of suspected terrorists in Dhara Sangla and Gujjar Naar....
