Srinagar, Aug. 25 -- Security forces have arrested eight suspected over ground workers (OGWs) of terrorists in separate operations across Kashmir and recovered grenades, ammunition-related items and other incriminating material, officials said on Tuesday.

In the latest operation, police and Army personnel launched a joint search in an orchard at Imamsahib in Shopian district following a tip-off, officials said.

During the search, the security forces recovered one grenade, two AK magazines, four mobile phones and posters linked to a banned terror outfit from an orchard belonging to Nazir Ahmad Wani.

Three suspected OGWs were arrested during the operation and identified as Ashiq Hussain Kumar, Arif Kumar and Harris Manzoor.
