JAMMU, June 8 -- Three mortar shells were found at two different places along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, officials said.

While two mortar shells were noticed in Jhanghar forest area, another was found abandoned at a secluded location in Makri village of Nowshera sector this morning, the officials said.

They said the bomb disposal squad of army defused all the three mortar shells safely. In another incident, police recovered an aeroplane-shaped balloon with PIA (Pakistan International Airlines) marking at Dhaki Nala near the International Border in Samba district on Monday.
