JAMMU, April 17 -- The Government has appointed 20 officers as Executive Magistrates in Reasi district under Section 14(1) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, to enhance administrative efficiency and law-and-order management.

As per an official order, the officers will exercise the powers of Executive Magistrates within their respective territorial jurisdictions across the district.

The appointments are aimed at reinforcing governance and ensuring more effective handling of administrative and security-related matters in Reasi.
