Srinagar, June 12 -- J&K Police on Friday ordered a inquiry into alleged misconduct by police personnel at Police Station Kunzer in north Kashmir's Baramulla district.

According to police the incident stems from June 10, when a police team from PS Kunzer was executing a status quo order issued by the Judicial Magistrate 1st Class (JMIC) Tangmarg, in Dhobiwan village and initiated legal and preventive proceedings.

Police said an altercation later reportedly took place inside the police station involving an advocate and police personnel, following which allegations regarding the conduct of police officials surfaced.
