Jammu, Aug. 10 -- As the government in J&K has been taking many steps to strengthen the healthcare edifice with Health Minister Sakeena Itoo leaving no stone unturned to provide adequate facilities to the people in the existing healthcare institutions, it has become necessary to take some more steps in augmenting such facilities.

Considering J&K's vastness and the limitations in reaching out to its population, particularly in terms of healthcare, there is a need to do more in providing the people with healthcare facilities near their doorsteps.
