India, Oct. 1 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government has accorded administrative approval for restoration of the traditional Shri Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrimage route at an estimated cost of Rs 15 crore, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said on Thursday.Politics

In a post on X, Omar said the project would focus on preserving the heritage of the traditional route while improving infrastructure along it.

He said the restoration work would also ensure a smoother and more convenient pilgrimage experience for devotees visiting the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine.
