India, March 21 -- Mosques and Eidgahs across Jammu and Kashmir are being prepared to host thousands of worshippers for the special Eid prayers on Saturday morning, as the region gears up to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, marking the culmination of the holy month of Ramadan.

According to the details available, the Eid congregation in the Valley are expected to take place at Asar-i-Sharif at Hazratbal, Khanqah-e-Muala, Ziarat Syed Sahib at Sonwar, Janab Sahib Soura, Asar-e-Sharif Kalashpora, Asar-e-Sharif Lal Bazar and other mosques and shrines. Imams and clerics will deliver sermons on the occasion highlighting the essence of festival.
