Jammu, May 25 -- The Government of India has launched the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS 5.0) to support businesses facing financial difficulties due to the ongoing tensions and conflict in West Asia. The crisis has disrupted international trade and energy supplies, resulting in a sharp increase in fuel prices and natural gas shortages. These developments have raised operating costs for many industries and created uncertainty in the business environment. Small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), which generally operate with limited financial reserves, have been affected the most.
