Srinagar, Sept. 3 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday described doctors as the "last ray of hope" for patients and urged newly appointed Medical Officers to serve with dedication, particularly in remote and far-flung areas.
Addressing a function at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) here after handing over appointment orders to newly recruited Medical Officers, the Chief Minister said joining government service marked a new chapter accompanied by greater responsibility, especially in the health sector.
