New Delhi, June 1 -- The Delhi Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has approved important proposals related to the Ad-Hoc Monthly Relief (AMR) scheme provided to Jammu and Kashmir migrant families.
According to the CM, this decision will benefit around 1,832 J&K migrant families registered with the Delhi government. The scheme will apply only to those registered migrant families who have received relief up to March 31, 2024.
Notably, the CM pointed that the government has decided to remove the income-related eligibility condition for providing relief to these families, and now eligibility for relief will not be affected, irrespective of family income or ownership of any immovable property.
