Jammu Tawi, June 1 -- Security forces' massive joint search operation 'Sheruwali' to trace terrorists in Jammu's Rajouri district continued for 10th running day today.

An official said that intensive efforts are underway to track terrorist hideouts and strengthen security in the dense forest region.

The operation is being carried out by the Indian Army in coordination with other security agencies, with surveillance and anti-terror measures continuing in the sensitive border belt, officials said, as quoted by White Knight Corps X.

Amid the ongoing operation, a senior Army commander visited forward areas along the Line of Control (LoC) to review the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness, officials said on Monday.
