India, March 27 -- Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo chaired a high-level meeting to review the steps taken by the Health & Medical Education (H&ME) Department as part of an ongoing effort to implement healthcare reforms in Jammu & Kashmir based on recommendations of NITI Aayog.

Senior officers from the Health & Medical Education Department and other stakeholders participated in the meeting, which focused on accelerating systemic reforms, strengthening healthcare infrastructure and improving service delivery across the Union Territory. The discussions centred on developing an integrated strategy to transform the healthcare sector through technology adoption, institutional collaboration, capacity building and stronger public health systems.
