NEW DELHI, April 21 -- President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday said civil servants play a crucial role in bridging gaps, fostering inclusivity and strengthening trust between the State and citizens, as she greeted bureaucrats on the occasion of Civil Services Day.

In a message shared on X, the President said the integrity and empathy of civil servants would be instrumental as India moves forward with renewed aspirations.

She noted that from framing innovative, future-oriented and citizen-centric policies to ensuring their effective implementation on the ground, civil servants significantly impact the lives of millions.
