Jammu, Aug. 5 -- World Breastfeeding Week (Aug 1-7) is being observed with enthusiasm in Jammu and Kashmir UT, as elsewhere in the country and beyond. A special theme " Breastfeeding for a suitable start in Life: Strengthen what works" selected by the World Health Organisation (WHO) for wide publicity through debate and discussions by all media of communications to create awareness about the importance and need for protecting and promoting the best practice of breastfeeding.
