JAMMU Tawi, Aug. 24 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has stepped up its political activities in Kashmir with the party holding a meeting of its state office-bearers in Srinagar, sending a clear message to the ruling alliance ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
The meeting, described as the first such gathering of BJP state office-bearers in Kashmir, was held at a hotel in the Nowgam area of Srinagar.
The party discussed preparations for the forthcoming Assembly polls as well as ways to strengthen its organizational presence and expand political and public outreach in the Valley.
