Srinagar, May 27 -- The Jammu and Kashmir BJP on Tuesday demanded strict punishment for the accused involved in the rape and murder of a 12-year-old girl in Budgam district.
The girl had gone missing on May 23 and was found dead in a field in Galwanpora village the next morning.
The incident triggered shock and grief in the area. Police have arrested one person, a neighbour of the victim.
