Anantnag, April 29 -- In a major anti-drug crackdown, Anantnag Police, in coordination with the civil administration, demolished multiple illegal structures worth crores built on state land along NH-44 in Sangam, targeting individuals allegedly involved in NDPS cases, officials said.
According to a police statement, the demolition drive focused on properties illegally constructed on state land under Khasra No. 319 (min) of estate Sangam. These structures, operating as roadside eateries (dabbas/restaurants), were found to be linked to persons involved in narcotics-related offences.
