India, April 6 -- Air India has suspended its flights to Israel till May 31 due to the ongoing West Asia conflict, affecting travel on the New Delhi-Tel Aviv route and leaving thousands of Indian nationals facing difficulties.
An Air India official confirmed that services on the New Delhi-Tel Aviv sector have been put on hold, with most international carriers also suspending operations to Tel Aviv. Currently, only Israeli airlines are operating flights under strict restrictions.
The disruption has raised concerns among over 40,000 Indians residing in Israel who are seeking to travel to India for personal, professional, or safety reasons amid escalating tensions. Many are now relying on land routes via Jordan or Egypt to exit Israel.
