Srinagar, Aug. 27 -- Stating that advanced healthcare must no longer remain a luxury confined to metropolitan cities, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday said it should reach far-flung areas and become a right, not a privilege.
Addressing the Quaternary Healthcare & Research Summit, the Lieutenant Governor said quaternary care should not be reserved for the economically privileged but must become a right of citizenship. He called for greater cooperation among governments, private hospitals, research centres and other stakeholders to make advanced healthcare accessible to all.
