VADODARA, Aug. 30 -- Former Army Chief General M.M. Naravane on Saturday described Operation Sindoor as a "very significant shift" in India's approach towards Pakistan, saying the military action targeted not only terrorist hideouts near the border but also their supporters deep inside the neighbouring country.
Speaking to reporters at an event in Vadodara, Naravane said the operation, conducted following the Pahalgam terror attack, demonstrated that those backing terrorism could not escape Indian action irrespective of their location.
