Srinagar, May 1 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday dismissed claims of dropping Urdu, stating that no such decision has been taken and accusing political opponents of spreading misinformation.
Speaking on the sidelines of an official event in Pampore, Abdullah said the government had only invited public feedback and no order had been issued to remove Urdu. "There is no droppage of Urdu. God save us from such people who cannot differentiate between truth and falsehood," he said, targeting critics.
